AGESBEC, a pioneering company in bonded warehousing and distribution centers in Brazil, participated in the 30th Intermodal South America, where it announced R$100 million in investments aimed at modernizing its services, expanding its portfolio, and strengthening its national and international presence.

According to the company, among the investments made in the first quarter of 2026 are the incorporation of new cold-chain infrastructure, new vehicles for its own fleet, and improvements to distribution centers located in São Bernardo do Campo.

In addition, another highlight that the company presented to the market in the year of its 55th anniversary was the completion of accreditation as CLIA (Centro Logístico Industrial Aduaneiro – Industrial Logistics Customs Hub). This accreditation enables the industrialization of goods in the secondary zone and expands the possibilities for value-added activities in Brazil.

In a scenario marked by geopolitical instability, increased logistics costs, and loss of competitiveness, customs logistics in the secondary zone gains importance by enabling international inventories, risk reduction, greater operational predictability, and retention of value added within national territory.

The company also innovated by inaugurating its own operations room at the Cargo Terminal of Guarulhos Airport (TECA-GRU). The terminal manages high-technology and pharmaceutical products. This new structure allows direct operations in the primary zone, integrating imports and exports with greater agility and visibility. It also contributes to reducing risks in cargo flows to the secondary zone, such as AGESBEC's bonded warehouse and its distribution centers, in addition to facilitating integration among clients, Brazilian Federal Revenue (RFB), and the Cargo Terminal.

"Our DNA has always been to be a pioneer in the sector in which we operate. In the medium term, AGESBEC should double its operational capacity, with massive investments aimed at attracting new clients to the secondary zone, sustained by a network of national and international hubs," said Ricardo Drago, president of AGESBEC.
