The Santos Port Authority (APS) has published an electronic bidding notice for the hiring of a specialized company to provide passenger waterborne transport services, expanding the support structure for operations conducted in the port complex. The bidding process covers the operation of regular routes and the provision of vessels for the company's operational and technical demands.

The bidding, identified as RLE No. 40/2026 (Process 306/25-97), provides for a contract with a term of 30 months. Proposals may be submitted until August 3, at 10 a.m., by companies previously accredited in the Licitações-e system of Banco do Brasil.

Strategic crossings

  • Santos – Guarujá (TEV/Santos Brasil);
  • Santos – Barnabé Island;
  • Bertioga – Itatinga Village.

In addition to regular crossings, the winning company shall provide different types of vessels on demand, such as speedboats, small vessels and catamarans.

These services will be used in activities such as:

  • operational inspections;
  • technical studies;
  • institutional and technical visits to the estuary and navigation channel of Santos Port.
