BYD has announced plans to launch in Brazil, starting in 2027, its advanced driving assistance system known as God's Eye. The news was presented during an event held at the company's headquarters in Shenzhen, where the manufacturer revealed details of its global strategy for the coming years.

The system, named XUANJI A3, is described by the company as the first processor developed for autonomous urban driving operations available on the Chinese market. The technology integrates sensors, artificial intelligence, and advanced data processing capabilities to assist the driver in various traffic situations.

According to BYD, the goal is to make the technology accessible across its entire vehicle lineup, expanding safety and democratizing features that are currently available only on more sophisticated models in the automotive market.

The automaker reported that it has invested approximately 100 billion yuan, equivalent to roughly R$ 75 billion, in research and development focused on vehicle safety and the advancement of intelligent driving systems.

According to the manufacturer, the project is based on three main objectives: drastically reduce traffic accidents, ensure that assistance systems operate with precision comparable to that of an experienced driver, and transform artificial intelligence into a permanent assistant for the driver.

The technology uses a combination of sensors and advanced positioning systems to monitor the environment around the vehicle in real time, enabling rapid and precise responses under different traffic conditions.

The initiative is part of BYD's global strategy to expand the presence of advanced driving assistance technologies in various international markets. The goal is to offer greater safety, comfort, and efficiency to consumers who choose electric and hybrid vehicles from the brand.

The announcement comes at a time of strong growth for the manufacturer in Brazil. In May, BYD reached a historic milestone by surpassing Volkswagen in retail vehicle sales in the Brazilian market, registering nearly 15,000 vehicles registered and consolidating its position among the country's leading automakers.

With the arrival of the God's Eye system, the company expects to further strengthen its competitiveness in the domestic market and accelerate the adoption of intelligent technologies in urban mobility.
