Fabrizio Pierdomenico is the new coordinator of the Integrated Logistics Chamber (CLI) of the Brazilian Foreign Trade Association (AEB). According to the entity, the decision takes effect immediately and aims to strengthen technical debate on national infrastructure and the facilitation of exports and imports.
The economist is president of Porto Agency and brings extensive experience in the port sector, having served as secretary of Planning and Port Development at the Special Secretariat of Ports between 2008 and 2011, and as national secretary of Ports and Waterway Transportation in 2023.
According to the AEB, the Integrated Logistics Chamber aims to formulate and debate solutions for the country's logistics bottlenecks, an agenda considered a priority for advancing the competitiveness of Brazilian foreign trade.
"Our idea is to make the AEB's presence increasingly strong in the Port Authority Councils (CAPs) and in the Administrative Councils of Port Authorities. We will create a database on each of the ports where the AEB has representatives on the CAP, in short, carry out articulated work in the port sector based on this important presence we have in the CAPs. And spark debate on all transport modes (road, rail, waterway)," said Pierdomenico.
The coordinator presents today the work plan for the new administration at an event for members and guests, which takes place in person at the AEB headquarters in downtown Rio de Janeiro.
