With the aim of promoting the exchange of experiences and strengthening cooperation between Brazilian port authorities, a technical team from Santos Port conducted an institutional visit last week to the ports managed by Companhia das Docas do Estado da Bahia (CODEBA).

The group was received by the Company's administrative manager, Alan Oliveira, who accompanied the entire technical agenda, and by Paulo Veiga, area chief of Aratu Port. During the two days of activity, the delegation was able to observe the operations of Salvador Port and Aratu Port, closely monitor the flow of operations, the structure of the units, and the processes that are part of port management.

For CODEBA's administrative manager, Alan Oliveira, the initiative reinforces the commitment of port authorities to knowledge exchange and the pursuit of integrated solutions. "The visit demonstrates recognition of the practices adopted by CODEBA and strengthens cooperation between port authorities, contributing to the dissemination of knowledge, the improvement of public management, and the development of the national port system," he emphasized.

The manager of Human Resources Administration and Occupational Health at Santos Port, Tiago Rodrigues, stated that the group was very satisfied with the facilities of the ports: "We were able to identify improvement opportunities for Santos Port and also share suggestions that can contribute to CODEBA. This exchange of experiences strengthens the work of both port authorities," he stated.
