Solfácil, Brazil's leading ecosystem of solar energy generation solutions, announced the inauguration of a new distribution center (DC) in Santa Catarina, in the municipality of Tubarão, with the aim of moving around R$ 150 million throughout 2026.

The new unit seeks to accelerate deliveries, reduce logistics costs for the end customer, and increase the company's presence in the solar energy market.

According to the company, the space has storage capacity of 4.3 thousand square meters of built area on a 9 thousand m² plot of land, with possibility of future expansion.

The center was designed to serve integrators and customers in the states of Santa Catarina, Rio Grande do Sul, and Paraná, as well as to be an integration hub for Solfácil's other distribution centers in Brazil.

The company forecasts that operations should reduce delivery times by more than 60% for some regions in Santa Catarina and by around 50% for cities in Paraná and Rio Grande do Sul, in addition to an average 25% drop in freight costs and the possibility of scheduled pickup on-site.

The new DC distributes equipment for the assembly of solar energy generation systems, including photovoltaic modules, inverters, cables, metal structures, and batteries. Available brands include Osda, Tsun, Hanersun, Goodwe, Huawei, Solis, Sofar, and Solfácil's own products, such as the Solfácil Smart intelligent meter.

The opening of the unit is part of the company's national expansion strategy for its distribution and financing ecosystem. The move comes at a time of increased competitiveness in the solar energy sector, in which logistics proximity has become a differentiator for distributors and integrators.

Solfácil's COO, Eduardo Neubern, highlighted that the Southern region played an important role in consolidating the company's presence in the solar energy market: "Coming back now, with a more efficient, robust structure prepared to sustain the company's growth, has strategic significance and is also relevant to us. It is a way to acknowledge the importance the South has had in the company's trajectory and reinforce our commitment to being increasingly close to integrators and partners in the region, delivering an even better experience."

For Lucas Rogério, Head of Solfácil's Distribution business, the solar market has become much more competitive in recent years and logistics efficiency now directly impacts the final cost of projects and the profitability of integrators. "With the new distribution center, we are able to regionalize inventory, shorten lead times, and provide greater predictability for integrators in the South, especially at a time when customers are more sensitive to delivery time, price, and equipment availability."
