Santos, August 11, 2026 – To connect the containerized logistics chain, strengthen the port-city relationship and promote social engagement. With this aim, Brasil Terminal Portuário (BTP), one of the largest container terminals in Latin America, reinforced in 2026 the calendar of solidarity actions promoted by the company and is already beginning to identify significant results.
This solidarity network – which encompasses employees, clients and partners – resulted in the delivery of over 1,700 items by BTP to the Santos Social Solidarity Fund in less than eight months, with 100% of donations being food items. The most recent contribution was the delivery of 100 basic food baskets, carried out at the beginning of winter.
BTP's Communication, Marketing and Social Responsibility Manager, Paula Bertelli, emphasizes that the impact of these initiatives is social and goes far beyond the numbers. “We have a commitment to the communities of the Baixada Santista and social responsibility is in our essence. We promote a series of actions throughout the year and the results we have achieved with this solidarity network show us that we are on the right path in promoting social engagement since the beginning of our operations at Santos Port”, she concludes.
