The National Agency for Aquatic Transport (ANTAQ) has set the date for Public Hearing No. 02/2026 for September 1st at 2:00 p.m. The initiative is designed to receive contributions, input, and suggestions for the improvement of technical and legal documents relating to the concession of the access channel to the Organized Port of Santos (SP).

The session will be held in hybrid format, with in-person attendance at the auditorium of ANTAQ's headquarters in Brasília, and virtual participation via Microsoft Teams platform, ending after the last registered participant has spoken. The event will be streamed live online, recorded, and subsequently made available on the Agency's YouTube channel. Registration will not be necessary to attend the hearing.

Those wishing to speak must register via WhatsApp at (61) 2029-6940, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on August 31st. After registration closes, virtual participants will receive the link to access the Teams room. In the auditorium, priority will be given to those registered to speak orally, subject to venue capacity.

The date was set following extensions granted to the Public Consultation contribution period. The first extension, for 60 days, was granted in response to a request from Santos Port Authority (APS). Subsequently, following a new request from APS, ANTAQ consulted the Ministry of Ports and Airports (MPor), which issued a favorable opinion on granting one final extension of the deadline. The extensions resulted from public policy issues raised during the process proceedings.

The deadline for submitting contributions remains open until September 29, 2026. Written submissions must be sent exclusively through the electronic form available on the Public Hearings page of ANTAQ's portal. The holding of the session and receipt of contributions follow the applicable procedural rules and regulatory deadlines.
