Fundação Settaport has opened registrations for the free Port Logistics Agent (ALP) course, aimed at people interested in learning about activities and expanding their knowledge of the port sector.
The training offers two capacity-building options: Shipping Agent and Port Operations. At the time of registration, the candidate must choose one of the modalities.
Two training options
The Shipping Agent module covers activities related to ship services, maritime agency, documentation, foreign trade, and costs involved in vessel calls.
The Port Operations training covers cargo handling and tallying, port equipment, container inspection, and terminal operational routines.
Classes will be held online and live via Google Meet, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
According to Fundação Settaport, the course is scheduled to begin on October 13 and end on December 18, 2026.
How to register
The registration deadline is October 6, 2026. Since that date has already passed, interested parties should contact Fundação Settaport to check if the deadline has been extended or if new classes have opened.
