The revitalization of Valongo Park has reached a new milestone with the delivery of Warehouse 3, a space that is now part of a complex dedicated to tourism, culture, innovation and entrepreneurship.

During the Integration 5.0 program representatives of the Santos Port Authority highlighted that the project symbolizes a new relationship between the Port of Santos and the population, returning to the city a historic area of contact with the quay.

In addition to hosting cultural events, shows and fairs, Warehouse 3 will house technology companies and innovation initiatives, consolidating Valongo Park as a hub for economic and tourism development.

The project also strengthens the valorization of Santos port heritage, bringing residents and visitors closer to the history of South America's largest port.

During an interview on the Integration 5.0 program, the president of the Santos Port Authority, Anderson Pomini, presented the progress of major infrastructure projects that are expected to prepare the port complex for the coming decades.

Among the initiatives are the construction of the Santos-Guarujá Tunnel, the second phase of the Guarujá Perimeter Avenue, the deepening of the navigation channel, the concession of the Itatinga Power Plant and investments aimed at the energy transition.

According to Pomini, the deepening of the channel will allow the world's largest container ships to operate at greater cargo capacity, regardless of tidal conditions, increasing logistics efficiency and international attractiveness of the Port of Santos.

Another highlight is the concession of the Itatinga Power Plant. The project provides for investments of approximately R$ 500 million to expand power generation capacity, develop renewable sources such as green hydrogen, and revitalize the historic English village complex, further strengthening regional tourism.

In the environmental area, the Port Authority reaffirmed its commitment to zero carbon emissions by 2040, through actions such as electrification of quays, incentives for ships with green certification and new clean energy projects.

The space features two courts for beach tennis, futsal volleyball and beach volleyball, a playground, an alley, gardens, a contemplative and floating pier for tourist reception, as well as the restored warehouse, which is now a multi-use space.
