Unipar celebrates 40 years of Fábrica Aberta program with focus on sustainability and community integration. In the port and industrial scenario, Unipar celebrates in 2025 the 40 years of its Fábrica Aberta program, an initiative that reinforces the importance of transparency, dialogue with the community and sustainable development, fundamental pillars for Brazil's port industrial hubs.

Created in 1985 at the Cubatão (SP) unit, a region that houses one of the country's largest port and industrial complexes, Fábrica Aberta was born from Unipar's commitment to social responsibility and the building of trust relationships with local communities.

The program was expanded to the units in Santo André (SP) and Bahía Blanca, Argentina, broadening its reach and impact on integration between industry, environment and society. With guided visits that have already welcomed over 134 thousand people, the program allows residents, students and port sector professionals to gain an in-depth knowledge of how the factories operate, the production processes, safety actions and environmental practices adopted by Unipar.

This exchange of experiences strengthens industrial tourism and contributes to building a sustainable culture in the regions where the company operates. For Jornal Portuário, this milestone represents a strategic initiative for strengthening the relationship between port industry and community, fundamental for the economic and social development of port regions.

Unipar thus reinforces its role not only as an economic agent, but also as a partner in building solutions for the environmental and social challenges of the port chain. To celebrate the 40 years, Unipar launched a commemorative video available from November 11 on the company's Instagram, which can be quickly accessed through UNIPAR Group's social media @grupounipar
